The health crisis caused by Covid-19 pandemic has had  consequences for all economies in Balkan countries.  SMEs as the most important part of economy play significant role in transformation of economies.  The aim of this Book review is to express the contribution of the book in each economies, SMEs, countries in transition etc.                                                                   By placing the situation of North Macedonia in Balkan level, each chapter offers analyses of history, policy makers, financial crises, inflation, public debt and FDI, which presents contribution in academic field also presents basis for future studies.
